Position: Marketing Manager

Opportunity
ACORE CAPITAL is one of the largest private, non-bank commercial real estate lenders in the U.S., managing $18+ billion in assets across nearly 30 years of market cycles.
The Marketing Manager is a new role created to partner closely with our Chief Marketing Officer as she establishes ACORE CAPITAL’s marketing function in a new chapter of the firm’s growth. You will help shape how ACORE CAPITAL communicates with two very different external audiences: global institutional investors (pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds) and the U.S. commercial real estate community (brokers, borrowers, developers). You will bring ideas to the table, contribute to strategy, help produce exceptional work, and build relationships across a firm full of smart, driven people.
The Marketing Manager Role
Strategic Planning & Brand Development
- Partner with the CMO to develop and refine the overall marketing and brand strategy across both the institutional capital-raising and CRE lending audiences.
- Contribute ideas and research to inform positioning, messaging frameworks, channel strategy, and campaign planning.
- Monitor competitor and industry leader activity — advertising, PR, digital presence, conference participation — and synthesize insights into strategic recommendations.
- Help evolve the brand with a forward-looking sensibility while preserving brand integrity across all touchpoints.
Creative & Communications
- Collaborate with the CMO, agency partners, and freelancers to develop or enhance compelling, on-brand creative assets, including investor presentations and pitch materials to digital advertising and thought leadership content.
- Draft, edit, and refine marketing copy, communications, and messaging across channels, ensuring they are audience-appropriate and brand-aligned.
- Support the development and production of owned content, including audio, video, and written in a way that reflects ACORE CAPITAL’s expertise and authority in the market.
- Coordinate PR agency initiatives and executive communications that enhance the brand reputation
Internal Stakeholder Management
- Build trusted working relationships with internal stakeholders, including the Capital Raising and Loan Origination teams, understanding their needs and translating them into effective marketing support.
- Act as a connective thread between the marketing function and internal stakeholders – gathering input, communicating priorities, managing expectations, and delivering results.
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for external partners including advertising, PR, design, and production vendors.
Marketing Operations & Compliance
- Manage the end-to-end trafficking, scheduling, and archiving of all marketing and advertising materials, ensuring flawless execution across traditional and digital channels.
- Track performance of digital advertising and social media, preparing regular reports and translating data into actionable insights.
- Ensure all marketing and PR materials meet SEC compliance requirements, working closely with the COO and Chief Compliance Officer on reviews and approvals.
- Coordinate event participation: industry sponsorships, conference speaker logistics, and ACORE-hosted events.
- This is not a comprehensive listing of activities; responsibilities may evolve as ACORE and its marketing function grow.
Who You Are
You are a smart, curious, and creative marketer who is equally excited by big ideas and getting things done. You have strong instincts, sharp communication skills, and the maturity to work effectively inside a lean, high-performing team. You want to be close to the strategy and in the delivery of high-quality execution.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, with exposure to B2B financial services, professional services, or institutional audiences.
- A strategic thinker who can contribute meaningfully to planning conversations.
- Exceptional written communication skills; you write clearly, persuasively, and with voice.
- Hands-on experience managing creative development across agency, design, and freelance partners.
- Proficiency across traditional and digital marketing channels.
- High comfort with marketing analytics.
- Knowledge of design fundamentals and production processes.
- A natural relationship-builder who earns trust quickly with colleagues and external partners alike.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Compensation: $125,000–$165,000 DOE, plus performance-based bonus. As an equal opportunity employer, ACORE CAPITAL offers a competitive benefits package and compensation commensurate with experience.
